How KCP handles your documents

Why we ask for it: To verify your identity and confirm that you are eligible for the class of membership you have applied for. The Kennel Club of Pakistan is required to satisfy itself of both before a membership number is issued.
Who can see it: Staff of the KCP office who process applications, and the Honorary Secretary who approves them. Your documents are never published, never shown in the public member directory, and are not shared with any third party.
How long we keep it: Your documents are retained for as long as the membership remains active, and for 24 months after an application is rejected or withdrawn, after which the documents are deleted.
How it is protected: Documents are held in private storage that is not reachable from the public website. When a member of the office opens one, a temporary link is created for that viewing and expires shortly afterwards.
Correcting or deleting it: Write to info@kennelclub.pk and ask. You may request a correction at any time, and you may ask for your documents to be deleted — although KCP may be unable to continue processing an application without them.
