Rules & Regulations

Pakistan Rottweiler Club (PRC) Sieger Show Format

The Pakistan Rottweiler Club (PRC) Sieger Show is the highest-level specialty conformation event for the Rottweiler breed conducted under the authority of the Kennel Club of Pakistan (KCP).

The purpose of the PRC Sieger Show is to evaluate breeding stock according to the official FCI Breed Standard, promote responsible breeding, encourage correct breed type, temperament, movement, and working ability, and identify outstanding dogs that contribute to the future development of the breed.

Unlike ordinary KCP Championship Shows, the PRC Sieger Show includes breed-specific evaluations such as height measurement and a gunshot temperament test.

Results of the PRC Sieger Show are permanently recorded in the KCP Registry.

Objectives

The objectives of the PRC Sieger Show are to:

  • Preserve and improve the Rottweiler breed.
  • Promote responsible breeding.
  • Evaluate dogs according to the FCI Breed Standard.
  • Assess anatomy, movement, temperament, and breed type.
  • Identify superior breeding stock.
  • Maintain permanent records for future breeding decisions.
  • Encourage education and sportsmanship among exhibitors.

Eligibility

Only Rottweilers registered with the Kennel Club of Pakistan or another FCI-recognized registry shall be eligible to participate.

All entries shall comply with:

  • KCP Rules and Regulations.
  • PRC Show Regulations.
  • Official FCI Rottweiler Breed Standard.

Classes

Dogs and bitches shall be judged separately.

The following classes shall be conducted.

Minor Puppy

Age: 3–6 months

Puppy

Age: 6–9 months

Junior 1

Age: 9–15 months

Junior 2

Age: 15–18 months

Intermediate

Age: 15–24 months

Open

Age: 15 months and above

Champion

For officially recognized champions.

Veteran

Age: 8 years and above.

Judging Procedure

Male classes shall be judged first, followed by female classes.

Each class shall be completed before proceeding to the next.

The Judge shall evaluate:

  • Breed Type
  • General Appearance
  • Head
  • Dentition
  • Pigmentation
  • Bone
  • Substance
  • Topline
  • Front Assembly
  • Hindquarters
  • Movement
  • Temperament
  • Overall Quality

Qualifications

The Judge may award qualifications in accordance with KCP Championship Show Regulations.

The Judge is not obliged to award the highest qualification if the exhibits do not possess sufficient merit.

CAC Competition

The following dogs shall compete for the CAC award:

  • Excellent 1st Intermediate Class
  • Excellent 1st Open Class

The Judge may award:

  • CAC
  • Reserve CAC

If required, the second-placed dog from the winning class shall be recalled to compete for Reserve CAC.

Breed Competitions

Following completion of all classes, the following competitions shall be conducted:

  • Best Minor Puppy of Breed
  • Best Puppy of Breed
  • Best Junior of Breed
  • Best Veteran of Breed
  • Best of Breed (BOB)
  • Best of Opposite Sex (BOS)

Sieger Titles

The Judge may award the following titles where the quality of the exhibits justifies such awards:

  • Sieger
  • Siegerin
  • Reserve Sieger
  • Reserve Siegerin

The Judge is not obliged to award these titles if the required standard is not achieved.

Height Measurement

Every dog entered in the PRC Sieger Show may be measured using approved measuring equipment.

The official height shall be recorded as part of the permanent KCP Registry.

Gunshot Temperament Test

Dogs may be required to undergo a gunshot temperament test in accordance with PRC regulations.

The purpose of this test is to evaluate:

  • Confidence
  • Stability
  • Nerve
  • Reaction to sudden noise

The result shall become part of the dog’s permanent record.

Judge’s Critiques

The Judge shall dictate critiques for the principal placed dogs in each class.

The Ring Steward shall enter these critiques into the Digital Ring Steward System.

The critiques shall become part of the permanent KCP Registry.

Awards

The following awards may be presented:

  • Class Winners
  • CAC
  • Reserve CAC
  • Best Minor Puppy of Breed
  • Best Puppy of Breed
  • Best Junior of Breed
  • Best Veteran of Breed
  • Best of Breed (BOB)
  • Best of Opposite Sex (BOS)
  • Sieger
  • Siegerin
  • Reserve Sieger
  • Reserve Siegerin

Additional perpetual trophies or commemorative awards may be presented by the Pakistan Rottweiler Club with the approval of KCP.

Championship Titles

Results obtained at the PRC Sieger Show shall count towards:

  • Pakistan Champion
  • Pakistan Junior Champion
  • Pakistan Veteran Champion
  • Grand Champion

Title calculations shall be performed automatically by the KCP Event Management System.

KCP Championship Points

The PRC Sieger Show shall form part of the official KCP Points System.

Points shall be awarded according to the number of dogs defeated at the highest level of competition achieved during the show.

These points shall count towards:

  • Grand Champion qualification
  • Dog of the Year rankings
  • Hall of Fame rankings

Results

The following information shall be permanently recorded within the KCP Registry:

  • Class Placings
  • Qualifications
  • CAC Awards
  • Sieger Titles
  • Judge’s Critiques
  • Height Measurement
  • Gunshot Temperament Test Result
  • Championship Points

Judge’s Discretion

The Judge shall evaluate every exhibit solely on its individual merit.

The Judge is not obliged to award any qualification, CAC, title, placement, or Sieger award if the exhibit does not meet the required standard.

The Judge’s decision shall be final.

Software Integration

The KCP Event Management System shall automatically manage the complete workflow of the PRC Sieger Show.

The system shall:

  • Validate entries and class eligibility.
  • Generate the official catalogue.
  • Record qualifications and placements.
  • Manage CAC competitions.
  • Record height measurements.
  • Record gunshot temperament test results.
  • Record Judge’s critiques.
  • Award Sieger titles.
  • Calculate championship points.
  • Update each dog’s permanent profile.
  • Produce official reports and certificates.
  • Integrate with the Digital Ring Steward System.

The Administrator shall have the ability to configure classes, awards, measurements, temperament tests, and specialty competitions to accommodate future amendments approved by KCP.
