Entry in Working Class — FCI Dog Shows

The Working Class is intended for dogs that have demonstrated their working ability by successfully completing an approved working test in accordance with Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) regulations. Entry into the Working Class is restricted to eligible breeds and requires documentary proof that the dog has fulfilled the prescribed working requirements.

Eligibility for Working Class

Only breeds recognized by the FCI as eligible for Working Class competition may be entered in this class. Eligibility is determined in accordance with the current FCI Breed Nomenclature and any exceptions specifically approved by the FCI for certain countries or breeds.

Working Class Certificate (WCC)

To enter a dog in the Working Class, the exhibitor must submit a copy of a valid Working Class Certificate (WCC) together with the show entry form. The Working Class Certificate confirms that the dog has successfully completed an approved working test and meets the requirements established by the FCI for entry into the Working Class. The certificate must be issued or endorsed by the national canine organization recognized by the FCI in the country where the owner resides.

Submission Requirements

The following documents must accompany the show entry:

  • Completed show entry form.
  • Copy of the valid Working Class Certificate (WCC).
  • Any additional documentation required by the show organizer or KCP.

Failure to provide the required documentation may result in the entry being transferred to an appropriate class or rejected.

Presentation of Original Documents

Exhibitors must retain the original Working Class Certificate and present it upon request by the Show Secretary, the Show Committee, the Kennel Club of Pakistan, or the Judge officiating at the event. Failure to produce the original certificate when requested may result in disqualification from the Working Class competition.

Responsibility of the Exhibitor

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that the dog is eligible for Working Class competition, that the Working Class Certificate is valid and current, and that all supporting documentation is submitted before the closing date of entries. Any incorrect or misleading information may result in cancellation of the entry and disciplinary action under KCP Rules and Regulations.

Important Note

Acceptance of an entry into the Working Class is subject to verification by the Kennel Club of Pakistan and the show organizer. KCP reserves the right to refuse or reclassify any entry that does not comply with applicable FCI or KCP regulations. For complete details, exhibitors are advised to consult the current FCI Show Regulations and FCI Breed Nomenclature.
